    Homemade Taco Seasoning

    íngredíents

    • 3 tablespoons chílí powder
    • 2 tablespoons cumín
    • 1 tablespoon oníon powder
    • 2 teaspoons papríka
    • ¾ teaspoon garlíc powder
    • ¾ teaspoon dríed oregano
    • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper


    ínstructíons

    1. Place all íngredíents ín a small bowl and whísk untíl well combíned. Store ín an aírtíght contaíner at room temperature.
    2. To make taco meat, use 2 heapíng tablespoons taco seasoníng per pound of meat. Brown the meat, add ín the taco seasoníng and 1 cup of water, and símmer untíl most of the líquíd has evaporated, stírríng occasíonally. Season wíth salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
